December 1st 2010 saw the launch of Spa Balik, Leamington Spa's first Garra Rufa treatment spa. Centrally located on Park Street, Spa Balik offers clients a specialised hand and foot treatment in a relaxing and warm environment. The idea came about after Lisa Byrne, a director for the company experienced the Garra Rufa fish treatment whilst on holiday in Thailand. She and her brother Des Byrne then decided to open the very first Garra Rufa fish spa in Leamington as the treatments are so unusual and unique and so Spa Balik was born. The shop is located on the characteristic & fashionable Park Street, which is best known for its quality and bespoke shopping and provides the perfect atmosphere for such a relaxing experience.
